In this day and age, the fast fashion industry produces countless amounts of waste,
especially from denim products. Therefore, Denim 2.0 was created, out of a sheer desire for a better world. We decided that we would not take part in this type of industry and would instead focus on sustainability. Our founder, Elise Heinhuis, discovered that if she cut up ruined denim jeans and repurposed them, she could make the most fashionable suits, while remaining environmentally conscious. And so, four uniquely handmade suits where born which manage to stand as individual staple pieces as well as complementary within a collection.
After the suits were created, we found it of the utmost importance to share our message with the world Which is why we took the opportunity to show our collection at the national finals of Kunstbende 2022 Where we used mixed media to fully bring our message to light.
As well as being completely waste free, the suits are also unisex and wearable for multiple sizes. We believe that clothing should have no gender, because expression is universal. With this collection we hope to show that people should not be put in boxes relating to size nor gender, we are all human after all. This is also why we chose our beautiful models who deviate from the societal norm for high fashion and don't regulate to gender norms. All shapes and sizes are welcome here at ELH fashion and we believe that it is incredibly important to showcase this.
If you take anything away from this collection, we hope it is that the boxes our society places people in these days must be obliterated. Everyone should be able to be who they want to be, and fashion should be a tool for expression, not a hindrance.
Be bold, be conscious, be you!

When deciding upon the core values of our brand a few words come to mind. “Uniqueness,
sustainability, confidence and daring”. ELH fashion stands for the future of the fashion
industry as a whole and wanted to encapsulate this in our slogan. That’s why after close
deliberations “Be bold, be conscious, be you” was born. Which shows our unique and daring
designs that hope to revolutionise the industry as we know it as well as one of our core
values sustainability. However, most importantly it showcases that our fashion can be a way
of expressing yourself and staying true to yourself. Because you are only the best person
you can be if you dress for you.

Bleached x ELH was born because two young artists got their heads together to think about an art project where they wanted to blow everyone away with the 't-shirt hoodies' project. Emre (CEO of Bleached Renaissance) and Elise (CEO of ELH Fashion) met in 2021 and started their first collaboration called 'triple denim', using the strengths of Bleached and ELH. The collection was made of denim, but the unique thing about that collection was that the three items (consisting of trousers, jacket and hoodie) were double-sided and therefore have two wearable sides. After this project Elise and Emre put their heads together again and started a second collaboration.
In 2022 we came up with a project where we completely used everything from incorrectly delivered t-shirts. All hoodies where made from scratch. the best thing about this project is that there were several comments from outside that it would be impossible to make hoodies from t-shirts, because t-shirt fabric is not the fabric normally used for making hoodies. What we did is that we used french terry (hoodie fabric) as a base and sewed the t-shirts on top of it. to come up with a unique and creative concept for these hoodies, the t-shirts were not taken apart but cut into pieces. This creates the mind blowing effect that the collar can also be used as a pocket and that it also looks like several shirts are overlapping. the hoodie is not only a clothing item but also a masterpiece, and for the art world also a piece of art, and wearable at that!
the hoodies are for sale on the instagram account of Bleached Renaissance

'Blauwdruk' is a platform for artists in Amersfoort. There is also a part called 'the future' where several young people get the chance to show their passion, their art to a wide audience. ELH Fashion was invited to take part in 2021 and that year we exhibited our 'next in line' collection. this collection was also shown during Kunstbende Noord-Holland in 2021. The reactions to the next in line collection have also ensured that we as elh fashion want to focus not only on clothing itself, but also on the art form of fashion. how we make a work of art wearable, share it with several people, but also keep it unique.
